Standard Time/Daylight Saving Time Transitions

Dec 29, 2007 at 7:28 PM
During the mission of STS-120 from October 23, 2007 through November 7, 2007, there were events scheduled during that hour period where “time does not exist”, the hour of transition from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time on November 4, 2007. The time in Houston, Texas was still in Daylight Saving Time and South Carolina was in Standard Time.

I had to put a special case in the routine that converted Central Time to the viewer’s time zone for Eastern Time.

I have not put special case code in for other time zones. If you will provide me, Houston time and the time in your time zone with your Windows time zone, I will add that special case to the conversion routine. The Windows time zone must be as it appears in the time zone list box for the Date and Time Properties (please, only English characters). It must have GMT + or -.
